Ukrainian Catholic University is preparing to host its 10th Annual Summer Program in Lviv, (Ukraine) unique combination of academics, Ukrainian language and culture classes and rich cultural program.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM
The academic program caters to students of all levels, from beginner to advance. Course materials are customized and a wide variety of options to enhance individual needs. Academic credits are transferable to most North American and European Colleges and Universities.
The Program consists of 6 sessions from 2 to 8 weeks long. Students may enroll in any of the sessions with a minimum course length of 2 weeks and a maximum course length of 8 weeks.

DIPLOMAS, CERTIFICATES
Students may obtain from 2 to 18 ECTS points for the sssion upon passing the final tests. Each participant will obtain a certificate of the participation in the course and those who pass the final exam will obtain a certificate with a grade report of ECTS points assignment.

Each session can be taken at one of three levels of intensity: Basic, Standard and Intensive.

Basic Language a combination of language lessons and leisure program, designed to ensure a fun-filled introduction to Ukraine

Standard Language and Culture – a well-rounded program of language study and Culture that covers all the skills necessary to function in a Ukrainian environment

Intensive Language and Culture – an intensive course for advanced or intermediate students who require language skills and strategies for academic, business or communication purposes

Everyday students have tutoring with native speakers who also accompany them during their evening activities and excursions. This helps create a full-time Ukrainian immersion program for the language-learners.

A SUMMER YOU WILL NEVER FORGET
Our social, leisure and activities program is designed to make the process of learning Ukrainian fun. There is a variety of sporting and non-sporting activities on the program – games, talent contests, parties, barbecues, concerts, optional theatre visits, etc. The program is a comprehensive and exciting one. There is always something to do and students are encouraged to participate.

Although studying Ukrainian is the main goal of your visit to Lviv, we want you to relax and enjoy yourself as well. There is no better Ukrainian speaking city than Lviv in which you can do this. Our social program is extensive and varied so through these activities you can not only improve your Ukrainian skills, you can also have a fabulous holiday and take home lasting memories. It is the perfect balance of learning and fun!

TEACHERS
All teachers are highly qualified professionals with vast experience teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language both to groups and One-to-One students of different language levels. They present grammar and vocabulary that are appropriate for your current level of proficiency and provide you with the best opportunities for practice in order to make the process of learning Ukrainian effective and efficient.

You can choose either one of our shared flat or the caring atmosphere of a host family, where you can be totally immersed in an Ukrainian-speaking environment twenty-four hours a day. Whichever you select, we will ensure you feel at home.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Undergraduate and postgraduate students of all majors (studying for BA, MA degree) interested in Ukrainian or Eastern Europe studies, culture and heritage.
Adults, college students, non-students, and seniors between the ages of 17 and 60.
