Ukrainian course content

The content and format of your Ukrainian language training course will depend on your profession, proficiency in Ukrainian and course objectives. Whether beginner, survival, intermediate or advanced, key areas covered in all our Ukrainian courses include:

• Spoken fluency

• Listening skills

• Pronunciation and accent

• Reading skills

• Telephone skills in Ukrainian

• Email skills in Ukrainian

• Sector-specific terminology

• Presentation & negotiation skills

Approach

Ukrainian language training courses are available seven days a week, 365 days a year. Training takes place between 08:00 and 21:00 although courses are also available outside of these hours upon request.

Suitable tailored and published Ukrainian course materials will be used throughout, with recommendations on self-study material and extra reading made at the beginning and during your Ukrainian course.

We offer a variety of training formats for your Ukrainian course – from intensive, weeklong courses to extensive, modular lessons. Appropriate formats will be discussed during your diagnostic consultancy.

At the end of an individual Ukrainian language course, participants receive the Ukrainian Catholic University Certificate. Such certificate specifies the number of instruction hours, the course content and the language proficiency level.

In the past, members of the general public and a wide range of professionals took advantage of our individual Ukrainian language courses, among them were translators, diplomats, academic teachers, and employees of international corporations.

We do our best to assist prospective students with finding accommodation in a comfortable UCU Dorm, situated at 29 Stryyska Street.
